End of life care is the care that you or your loved one receives in the last months of their life. Our dedicated healthcare team will support you so that your pain and any uncomfortable symptoms are controlled. The care and support provided by our staff extends beyond your healthcare needs to include your psychological, social, emotional and spiritual demands, which should also be addressed to enable you to achieve the best quality of life in your last days. We follow the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines which emphasises that, end of life care should be about enhancing the quality of life, ensuring that people have a positive experience of healthcare and treating and caring for people in a safe environment and protecting them from avoidable harm.
